Lockbund Foundry

Lockbund Foundry, run by artist Simon Allison, is an idyllic foundry situated alongside a canal, in the pretty countryside of Oxfordshire. The welcoming and skilled team are a pleasure to work alongside, and willing to talk through any potential challenge you might bring to them. They have worked with an impressive array of artists and projects, from the bronze figures of James Butler RA, to colossal stainless steel public installations by Hugh Chapman, alongside many other beautiful and diverse works.

In generous support of Lost-Wax for Lost-Species Conservation aims, Lockbund have finished and patinated a selection of the creatures. Here are some photos from the couple of days spent with the crew.
