Wax in the post!

The call-out deadline is now closed, and we are pleased to announce that we have over 100 artists participating in Lost-Wax for Lost-Species. Application have come from all over the UK, from London to Glasgow. The 80g of natural modelling wax is now on its way to everyone, navigating the overloaded postal service of the UK!

The endangered species chosen by our participants are a diverse array of our threatened kin, from lichen to bugs to mammals; a sad reflection of the impact the climate crisis if having on every part of our surrounding ecosystems. It is even more overwhelming to think that this is less than 0.5% of the number of endangered species on our planet today.
